Job summary

GBS is seeking an Associate Dean (Teaching Excellence) who will be accountable for the Faculty’s framework for assuring, evaluating and continuously improving teaching quality across all campuses, delivery modes, and teaching schedules.

You will lead teaching quality assurance, lecturer observation, academic staff development, teaching performance improvement, and the implementation of learning and teaching policies across the Faculty.

Qualifications

• Experience in higher education teaching and quality assurance.
• Ability to use student feedback and outcomes to drive improvement.
• Experience leading teams and delivering staff development interventions.
• Strong analytical skills and evidence-informed decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee teaching quality assurance and evaluation across campuses.
• Lead lecturer observation and staff development initiatives.
• Implement learning and teaching policies and standards.
• Provide independent assurance to the Dean on quality of teaching.
• Maintain visible academic presence across locations and schedules.
