Job summary

Arden University is seeking an Associate Dean (Academic Programmes and Student Success) to shape the Faculty of Foundation Studies, translating strategic priorities into actions that improve student experience and outcomes. You will champion innovation, data-driven improvement, and partnerships across the university.

You will lead in academic programmes, student success, and employability, guiding teams through complex change and strategic development within Arden’s expanding landscape.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline with strong research, scholarly activity or pedagogy.
• Recognised higher education teaching qualification and/or professional recognition (e.g. PG Cert HE, FHEA, SFHEA, PFHEA, QTS or QTLS).
• Significant senior-level academic leadership and management experience within higher education, including quality assurance and accreditation.
• Proven success in leading Faculty-wide initiatives that improve student experience and academic quality.

• Translate strategic priorities into action and drive excellence in student experience and outcomes.
• Lead in areas such as academic programmes, student success, research, enterprise or external engagement.
• Develop and support teams, manage change and improve performance using data and feedback.
