Job summary
Arden University is seeking a Head of Department for Foundation Degrees to lead a department of around 40 permanent academic staff across multiple UK campuses. You will manage Senior Lecturers and Programme Team Leaders, providing strategic academic leadership across our Foundation Degree portfolio and driving quality, performance, innovation and student success.

Qualifications
- Masters degree and HE teaching qualification or Fellowship.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills.
- Track record of leading degree‑level programmes with strong student outcomes and satisfaction.
- Ability to develop innovative teaching, research and industry-focused environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Department for Foundation Degrees across multiple UK campuses, shaping strategic direction.
- Manage Senior Lecturers and Programme Team Leaders to drive quality, performance and student success.
