Job summary

Arden University is seeking an experienced Associate Dean (Academic Programmes and Student Success) to lead the Faculty of Foundation Studies. You will translate strategic priorities into action, drive excellence in the student experience and academic outcomes, and shape the future of our Foundation Year and related programmes.

You will work closely with the Dean and partners across the University, leading initiatives in academic programmes, student success, research and external engagement,

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Recognised higher education teaching qualification and/or professional recognition (e.g. PG Cert HE, FHEA, SFHEA, PFHEA, QTS or QTLS).
• Significant senior-level academic leadership and management experience within higher education, including quality assurance and accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic priorities into meaningful action and drive excellence in student experience and academic outcomes.
• Lead areas such as academic programmes, student success, research and enterprise, or external engagement.
• Build strong partnerships across the University and beyond and guide teams through complex change.
