Element Materials Technology in Hull is seeking an Associate Cyber Security Test Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. The role involves testing Cyber Security, Zigbee and Matter protocols, preparing test reports, and interacting with clients to relay results.

You will perform tests under established procedures, log findings, and maintain confidentiality while developing expertise in smart technology. Some travel may be required domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

  • University degree in computing, programming, IT or equivalent work experience.
  • Interest in cyber security, smart energy and emerging technologies.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Phyton, JavaScript, Java, C+.
  • Familiar with CSA processes would be an advantage.

  • Maintain a technical logbook.
  • Record results of tests on the prescribed result sheets.

  • Ensure that commercial confidentiality is maintained.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duty as directed by the Department Manager – Smart Technology.
  • Occasional business travel may be required both domestic and international.

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Associate Cyber Security Test Engineerto join our rapidly expanding team in Hull. As a member of the operations team, the cyber security engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision. This role will focus on exciting new areas such as cyber security, smart energy and matter technology.

Responsibilities
