Overview

Customer Advocate UK remote

About the Role

The Customer Advocate (CA) is a key member of the Renewals team, responsible for proactively managing the renewal process and lifecycle. This includes leading negotiations, preparing quotes, obtaining approvals, and ensuring proper documentation.

The CA manages the renewal pipeline, works with various departments such as Business Leaders, Account Management, Fulfillment, Finance, and Services to gather updates, and seeks to understand customer pain points to add value and modernize their business.

The role also involves negotiating customer requests, advocating for Aptean’s value proposition, and serving as the primary contact for renewal inquiries through various channels.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all renewal-related customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the Renewals Analyst to meet renewal milestones and update account information.
  • Lead negotiations to close renewals successfully and resolve quote rejection issues.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, legal, finance, and other teams to resolve issues.
  • Track renewal activities, conduct data audits, and follow established processes.
  • Own product lines or accounts and support team best practices.
  • Build relationships with customers and partners to ensure good communication and high retention.
  • Provide feedback to improve renewal processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

About you

  • Motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting to senior management and customers.
  • Organized, able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of contract and legal negotiations is a plus.
  • Proficient with MS Office, CRM tools, and reporting.
  • Experience in critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to support change and understand business requirements.
