Job summary

Google is seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel to advise on commercial and technology agreements across EMEA, with focus on UK and European digital regulation. You’ll draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts with advertisers, agencies, and partners, ensuring compliance with policies and local law.

You will work with cross-functional teams in sales, product, and Global Affairs, translate evolving GDPR, AI, and competition rules into practical guidance, and help scale contracting programs

Qualifications

• UK-qualified solicitor with 3+ years private practice or in-house experience.
• Experience advising on contract, commercial, IP, and IT/tech law including data protection/privacy (GDPR/ePrivacy).
• Experience reviewing, negotiating, drafting, and advising on complex, multi-jurisdictional tech and commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements for Google across EMEA.
• Advise on UK/European digital regulations and translate them into practical contracting guidance.
• Partner with sales, product, and Global Affairs to scale contracting programs and templates.
