Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Associate Cost Manager to join our Real Estate team to support a range of high-profile fit-out and refurbishment projects, focusing on MEP.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Managing the implementation process of a revised reporting structure across all MEP Design & Construction and retail projects.
  2. Managing aspects of MEP quantity surveying and cost consultancy, including pre- and post-contract duties.
  3. Assisting in producing MEP cost estimates and cost plans.
  4. Contributing to the tender process, reviewing and analysing MEP tender returns, and supporting recommendations to the client, including advice on MEP package procurement routes.
  5. Producing guidance notes on the reporting structure to ensure clients and vendors are adequately trained on the process.
  6. Managing stakeholder relationships by chairing client meetings and presenting data findings.
  7. Publishing and presenting monthly reports, programme dashboards, and bi-weekly status updates.
  8. Collaborating with vendor representatives to ensure effective project reporting.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience delivering high-quality cost management and quantity surveying services across the full MEP project lifecycle.
  • Professional qualification (RICS, CIBSE, or similar).
  • Degree or HNC qualification.
  • Experience in delivering MEP work for clients.
  • Knowledge of the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects successfully.
  • Proficiency with digital software for cost management services.
