Job Description

We are recruiting an Associate Cost Manager to join our Real Estate team, focusing on high-profile fit-out and refurbishment projects, particularly on MEP aspects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage the implementation of a revised reporting structure across all MEP design, construction, and retail projects.
2. Oversee MEP quantity surveying and cost consultancy activities, including pre and post-contract duties.
3. Assist in preparing MEP cost estimates and cost plans.
4. Contribute to the tender process by reviewing and analyzing MEP tender returns, supporting client recommendations, and advising on procurement routes.
5. Create guidance notes on reporting procedures to ensure clients and vendors are properly trained.
6. Manage stakeholder relationships by chairing client meetings and presenting data findings.
7. Publish and present monthly reports, dashboards, and bi-weekly status updates.
8. Interact regularly with vendor representatives to ensure effective project reporting.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in delivering high-quality cost management and quantity surveying services across the MEP project lifecycle.
2. Professional qualification (e.g., RICS, CIBSE) or equivalent.
3. Degree or HNC qualification.
4. Experience in delivering MEP work for clients.
5. Knowledge of and contacts within the MEP supply chain.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
7. Proficiency with digital software for cost management services.
