Job Description

We are recruiting an Associate Cost Manager to join our Real Estate team, supporting high-profile fit-out and refurbishment projects focusing on MEP.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage the implementation of a revised reporting structure across all MEP design, construction, and retail projects.
2. Oversee MEP quantity surveying and cost consultancy duties, including pre- and post-contract activities.
3. Assist in producing MEP cost estimates and cost plans.
4. Contribute to the tender process by reviewing MEP tenders, analyzing returns, and advising clients on procurement routes.
5. Create guidance notes for reporting structures to ensure proper training for clients and vendors.
6. Manage stakeholder relationships through client meetings and presenting data findings.
7. Publish and present monthly reports, dashboards, and bi-weekly status updates.
8. Engage with vendor representatives to ensure effective project reporting.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in delivering high-quality cost management and quantity surveying services across the MEP project lifecycle.
2. Professional qualification (e.g., RICS, CIBSE, or similar).
3. Degree or HNC qualification.
4. Experience in delivering MEP work for clients.
5. Knowledge of and contacts within the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below).
6. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
7. Proficiency with digital software for cost management services.
