Job Description

We are recruiting an Associate Cost Manager to work on prestigious mixed-use real estate projects with values ranging from millions to billions of pounds. Responsibilities include:

• Managing aspects of quantity surveying and cost consultancy, including pre- and post-contract duties
• Producing cost estimates and plans
• Managing tender processes, reviewing tender returns, and advising on procurement
• Attending meetings, preparing financial reports, and monitoring project status
• Ensuring projects stay within budget from design to completion
• Handling post-contract duties, variations, and final account negotiations
• Building relationships with clients
• Managing junior team members to deliver cost management services effectively

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• MRICS qualification
• Experience in UK Cost Management within the Real Estate/Property sector
• Experience on projects valued at £10m or more
• Experience with new build and fit-out projects
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
