Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Cost Manager / Commercial Manager for our prestigious infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cost management, ready to apply their knowledge in a dynamic environment. They should be comfortable with challenging conversations and possess a consultative approach to leadership and client engagement.

Main Responsibilities:

• Build professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and project stakeholders.
• Administer contracts in line with project goals and policies.
• Monitor, forecast, and report on project costs accurately.
• Manage cost variances and contract cash flow, ensuring timely applications.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver project KPIs, including performance, cost control, and value engineering.
• Manage contract changes effectively, maintaining governance and best practices.
• Improve forecast and budget accuracy.
• Provide commercial support and knowledge to stakeholders.
• Negotiate and finalize project accounts.
• Lead teams and project commissions as needed.

Qualifications:

• MRICS preferred
• Experience with NEC3 contracts, especially Option C – Target Cost
• Post-contract administration experience
• Experience with major programmes and infrastructure projects (rail, air, marine/ports, utilities, highways)
• Proven leadership and team management skills
