Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in London is seeking an Associate to join the UK Tax practice. You will assist with corporate tax advice for multinational and UK-headquartered clients across industries, contribute to on-site engagements, and help prepare provisions and computations for compliance and reporting.

You will work with senior colleagues to deliver tax projects and develop your tax technical skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• ACA or CTA qualified.
• UK corporate tax compliance and advisory experience.
• Strong communication, presentation and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with providing advice on corporate tax technical issues in UK and international corporate tax.
• Support a portfolio of multinational and UK-headquartered corporations across multiple sectors.
• Participate in client engagements, including on-site projects, to support the delivery of corporate tax work and assist in addressing tax challenges.
• Prepare corporation tax provisions and computations for compliance and reporting purposes, for review by senior team members.
• Support the delivery of corporate tax projects, including tracking timelines, coordinating information requests, and assisting with client communications.
• Undertake technical corporate tax research to support advisory work.
• Work collaboratively with team members and provide support to junior colleagues where required.
