Job summary

Taylor Root is seeking a Contentious Trust and Probate Associate (4-5 PQE) to join its renowned disputes team within the private client practice. You will handle complex, high-value trust and estate disputes, advise on challenges to wills, breach of trust, fiduciary duty issues, and succession matters, and manage your own caseload while assisting senior lawyers.

The role involves drafting pleadings, engaging in mediations and court hearings, and contributing to business development.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years’ PQE with contentious trusts and probate experience
• Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage cases independently and contribute to team strategy
• Commercial mindset with client relationship skills
• STEP or ACTAPS qualification viewed favourably

• Drafting pleadings and correspondence, engaging in mediations and court hearings
• Playing an active role in business development initiatives

What They’re Looking For
