What You Do.

  • Contribute to the sourcing, interpretation, and application of consumer information to identify and evaluate new product opportunities as directed by the Sr. Manager - Insights (NPD).
  • Design custom research projects that meet plan objectives and manage these projects to completion, developing actionable insights and reporting the results to stakeholders, with guidance from the Senior Manager - Insights (NPD).
  • Research areas may include concept, product, packaging, positioning, pricing, need state and consumer segmentation, volumetric forecasting, and syndicated scanner/panel data analysis.
  • Monitor and apply consumer trends (demographic, attitudinal, behavioral) to the business.
  • Synthesize learning across data sources to create compelling business stories and support marketing strategies.
  • Manage research project costs and relationships with suppliers effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and demonstrate excellent influencing skills. Share information across the Insights team.
  • Occasional travel up to 20% required.

Your Education and Experience.

  • 0-1 years of custom qualitative and quantitative research experience and a master’s degree or higher, or 1-3 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • CPG experience and/or experience in new product development methodologies and techniques is a plus.
  • Nielsen/Circana scanner and panel experience is required.
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
