Our AI Product Engineer will join a small, fast-moving team building the next generation of AI-powered products. This hands-on role is for engineers passionate about solving hard problems through rapid prototyping and thriving in ambiguity and speed. We focus on writing code, shipping fast, and learning as we go.

About the Team

This team has a flat structure, a best-idea-wins culture, and where engineers influence product direction. We operate like a startup but with the resources of a larger organization. Our offices are in Manchester and London, with flexibility to work remotely within the UK. We value face-to-face collaboration during hackathons and problem-solving sessions.

About the Role

• Prototyping and launching AI features using OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google models.
• Building with Python and TypeScript in a Next.js/AWS Amplify stack.
• Designing workflows with AWS Step Functions and Lambda.
• Transforming and integrating data in formats like JSON, XML, and CSV.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to develop products from idea to production.
• Debugging complex issues in modern LLM stacks.
• Working in an environment that values fast learning, iteration, and honest feedback.

What We're Looking For & More

• Experience with side projects or prototypes, ideally coded in Cursor or Windsurf.
• Passion for coding and exploring AI capabilities for fun.
• Fluent in Python and TypeScript, with a mindset oriented towards APIs and structured data.
• Ability to own problems end-to-end and know when to seek help.
• Enthusiasm for collaboration and stakeholder engagement to understand real-world problems.
