Associate Civil Engineer

Location: Bristol

Salary: £53,000 - £62,000 plus car

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a highly-regarded, multi-discipline engineering and planning consultancy as an Associate based in their Bristol office. You will be responsible for leading the Infrastructure team with support from the in-house Director, while also supporting other teams across the country.

The Role:

You will act as the main point of contact for clients and employees regarding Infrastructure design. Your responsibilities include overseeing the production of engineering designs for planning applications, detailed designs, and construction of drainage, highways, SuDS, and building drainage for major infrastructure and various developments such as residential, retail, industrial, and commercial projects.

You will have the authority to grow and manage the team, which includes engineers, technicians, and apprentices, taking ownership of the group's performance and development.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in consultancy/private sector development, particularly with residential development projects.
• A personable, team-oriented approach with confidence in introducing new ideas into the practice.
• Proven experience in producing technical drawings for tender and construction purposes across infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of drainage strategies and flood risk assessments.
