Job summary

Strata Consulting is seeking an Associate Civil Infrastructure Engineer for their Bath office. You will manage multidisciplinary projects from planning to construction, balance resources and finances, and mentor junior team members.

Applicants should have a strong infrastructure design background, experience leading project teams, and familiarity with AutoCAD, Civils 3D and MicroDrainage. Travel and professional registration are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in infrastructure design.
• Experience leading a technical specialism in a core infrastructure discipline (Highways, Utilities or Sustainable Drainage).
• Willingness to travel and lead continuous quality improvement in our work.
• Experience delivering international multidisciplinary projects; strong team motivation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of multidisciplinary projects and monitor financial performance from proposal through to construction.
• Lead and mentor staff, plan workload and develop junior team members.
• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications and schedules.
• Support work winning to secure the group's project pipeline.

Our client is a leading multidisciplinary design consultancy who currently have a requirement for an Associate Civil Infrastructure Engineer within their Bath office. They offer an integrated multi-disciplinary service throughout the whole project life cycle, from planning through to design and implementation. Their expertise ranges from city-scale masterplanning through to campus and building-scale development infrastructure.

The role

• Managing the delivery of multidisciplinary projects, balancing demands and priorities, whilst reviewing civil infrastructure design, from project proposition through to construction. Plan project resources and finances and monitor job financial performance.
• The management of technical staff, with responsibility for planning team workload, as well as assisting and mentoring staff where needed, and developing more junior team members.
• Preparing and reviewing technical reports, specification and schedules.
• Applying customer focus you will be part of the work winning team securing the groups project pipeline.

What you need to succeed

• Strong technical background in infrastructure design, with a demonstrable track record of leading a technical specialism in a core infrastructure discipline (Highways, Utilities or Sustainable Drainage).
• Experience of successful international multidisciplinary project delivery; demonstrating both the ability to manage and motivate the team, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A willingness to travel, and desire to lead continuous quality improvement in our work.
• Experience in AutoCAD, Civils 3D and MicroDrainage.
• A Member of a relevant professional institution.
