Job summary

Optimizely seeks an Associate Business Systems Analyst to join our Enterprise Applications team, supporting Salesforce Revenue Cloud and the broader Quote-to-Cash ecosystem. • Elicit, document, and translate business requirements into clear, well-structured user stories with defined acceptance criteria
• Conduct gap analysis between current-state processes and desired future-state outcomes
• Facilitate requirements workshops and discovery sessions with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation including functional specifications, process flows, and data mapping documents

Responsibilities

• Develop test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts from user stories and process documentation
• Execute functional and regression testing across Salesforce Revenue Cloud and connected systems
• Participate in UAT sessions - coordinating with business users, logging defects in Jira, and tracking resolution through to sign-off
• Identify and document defects clearly with reproduction steps, expected vs. actual results, and business impact
• Support the configuration, testing, and delivery of Salesforce Revenue Cloud solutions including product catalog setup, quoting workflows, contract lifecycle management, billing schedules, and invoice generation
• Analyse end-to-end Order-to-Cash process from opportunity to revenue recognition and identify improvement opportunities
• Work with developers and implementation partners to ensure solutions are built to specification
• Support integration testing between Salesforce and downstream systems like NetSuite and Avalara

Job description

We are looking for an Associate Business Systems Analyst to join our growing Enterprise Applications team, supporting the delivery and optimisation of our Salesforce Revenue Cloud platform and broader Quote-to-Cash ecosystem. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who is passionate about translating business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions - and who wants to build deep expertise in one of the most strategically important areas of our technology stack. You will work closely with our Sales Operations, Finance, and Revenue Operations teams to support end-to-end business processes across quoting, contracting, billing, and revenue recognition - playing a key role in both our day-to-day BAU delivery and our ambitious Q2R (Quote-to-Revenue) programme.

Business Analysis & Requirements

Salesforce Revenue Cloud & Order-to-Cash

• Support the configuration, testing, and delivery of Salesforce Revenue Cloud (RCA/RCB) solutions including product catalog setup, quoting workflows, contract lifecycle management, billing schedules, and invoice generation
• Analyse and document the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process - from opportunity creation through quote, contract, order, invoice, and revenue recognition - identifying process gaps and improvement opportunities
• Work closely with developers and implementation partners to ensure solutions are built to specification and aligned with business requirements
• Support integration testing between Salesforce and downstream systems including NetSuite, Avalara, and other revenue operations tools

Testing & Quality Assurance
