Job summary

Bimplus in Birmingham is seeking an Associate Building Surveyor to join their established team. The role offers real autonomy, direct client exposure and the chance to influence growth across the Midlands from the Birmingham office.

The ideal candidate is a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying, strong commercial surveying experience, solid contracts knowledge, and excellent report writing skills. Driving licence required.

Qualifications

• MRICS chartered status required.
• BSc (Hons) Building Surveying degree required.
• Proven experience in commercial building surveying.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract administration on refurbishment and fit-out projects.
• Deliver technical due diligence for institutional clients.
• Manage dilapidations claims from assessment to settlement.
• Conduct building pathology investigations and remediation planning.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to generate repeat/new work.
• Support fee targets and contribute to business development.
• Mentor and supervise junior surveyors.
• Prepare and present high-standard client reports.
