Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying or an RICS accredited degree.
• MRICS Chartered status.
• Extensive Building Surveying experience in a consultancy environment.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration and professional Building Surveying services.
• Experience managing projects, clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commercial awareness with ability to identify new business opportunities.
• Experience mentoring graduates and APC candidates.
• Excellent technical report writing and specification preparation.
• Understanding of Building Regulations, Health & Safety legislation and compliance.
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead refurbishment, improvement and modernisation projects across sectors.
• Carry out feasibility studies, prepare specifications and manage projects end-to-end.
• Administer contracts using JCT and NEC forms.
• Deliver inspections, surveys, schedules and technical reporting.
• Manage client relationships and ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
• Mentor junior surveyors and supervise APC candidates.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and line management to the team.
• Support business development and bid submissions.
• Promote health & safety, compliance and environment standards.
