  • Act as a trusted deputy to the office lead, supporting the leadership, development and growth of the regional Building Surveying team and Newcastle office
  • Lead and deliver a broad range of professional and project-based Building Surveying services, including technical due diligence, dilapidations, contract administration, refurbishment projects, defect diagnosis, planned maintenance and more
  • Take ownership of key client relationships, delivering exceptional service while identifying opportunities to expand existing commissions and generate new business opportunities.
  • Play an active role in winning work through networking, building market presence, attending industry events and contributing to fee proposals, presentations and client pitches.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Building Surveying, Project Management, Cost Management, Building Safety & Fire and other service lines to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
  • Mentor and support junior surveyors, helping to develop talent within the team and foster a positive, collaborative culture.
  • Take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects and commissions, ensuring work is completed to the highest technical standards and in line with client expectations.
  • Manage project finances, resources and programmes to ensure profitable and efficient delivery.
  • Support recruitment, succession planning and team development as the Newcastle office continues to expand.
Your profile
  • Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS).
  • Significant experience delivering a broad range of professional and project-based Building Surveying services.
