Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking an experienced Associate Mechanical or Electrical Design Engineer to join their Building Services team in the UK (Birmingham or Leicester options).

You will lead the design and delivery of complex building services projects, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams to drive high-quality outcomes. The role requires Chartered Engineer status or progress toward it, along with proven consultancy experience, leadership skills, and proficiency in design

Qualifications

Degree in mechanical or electrical/building services engineering.
Chartered Engineer or working toward it.
Experience delivering building services projects in consultancy.
Strong leadership and project management.
Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
Commercial awareness with cost control.

Responsibilities

Lead design and delivery of complex building services projects.
Manage multidisciplinary teams; maintain client relationships.
Produce detailed calculations, specifications, and drawings.
Support business development and bid submissions.
Promote sustainability and innovation across projects.
