Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Professional Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer to lead multiple projects in a hybrid Manchester-based role. You will deliver calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, site surveys, and construction-stage duties while coordinating with internal and external teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage your own workload, and contribute to team development across public and private sector projects. Chartered status is desirable.

Qualifications

• Accredited Building Services or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership desirable.
• Experience delivering mechanical building services designs across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver multiple projects, taking design responsibility and managing deliverables.
• Perform calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and site surveys.
• Coordinate with internal/external design teams and liaise with clients.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
