Talent Motion is seeking an Associate/Associate Director to lead the Mechanical Building Services design for heritage-focused projects in London. You will manage client interfaces, coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team, and drive technically robust, sustainable building services strategies.
The role offers hybrid working, a client-facing leadership path, and opportunities to shape projects across heritage, workplace, hospitality and mixed-use developments.
Design better places. Think differently. Make an impact.
Talent Motion is representing a multidiscipline consultancy that believes engineering can do more than make buildings work. It can make places healthier, more sustainable and better for the people who use them.
We’re looking for an Associate or Associate Director to join their growing Building Services team in a client facing and project leading role.
This is an opportunity to work on genuinely interesting projects, alongside civil, structural, transport, sustainability, environmental and other built-environment specialists – giving you the chance to think beyond your own discipline and see the bigger picture.
You’ll be involved in the design and delivery of Mechanical Building Services across a diverse range of projects and sectors that focus heavily on Heritage projects.
But this isn’t simply a role where you’ll be given a package of drawings and asked to get on with it.
We want engineers who are curious.
Engineers who ask why?
Engineers who challenge conventional thinking.
Engineers who enjoy solving problems collaboratively.
Engineers who want their work to have a positive impact.
The team deliver genuinely integrated designs, bringing together engineering, sustainability, transport, environment, heritage, placemaking and community engagement to understand projects as interconnected systems.
That means you’ll work alongside people with different expertise and perspectives – and have the opportunity to learn from them.
They also take career development seriously.
Your career path is designed around you. They support professional qualifications and Chartership, provide mentoring and CPD, and recognise that everyone’s route through their career is different.
A people focused business, with a heavy focus on teamwork, multiple social events throughout the year that celebrate success and hard work. They want people to be able to do their best work while maintaining a healthy balance outside of it.
Offering flexible/hybrid working, mentoring, continuous learning and development, and multiple routes for career progression.
Most importantly, you’ll be joining a business where everyone has a voice, collaboration is encouraged and people are trusted to help shape their own careers.
