Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate/Associate Director of EIA Coordination and Project Management with experience of Planning Act 2008 procedures.
This role is ideal for a candidate with experience and knowledge of EIA in NSIP and similar regimes, seeking to further their career within the UK’s largest planning consultancy, which operates within Savills UK's diverse real estate advisory and transactional services.
The role involves working across various existing appointments on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) across sectors such as CCUS, hydrogen, renewables, water, wastewater, rail freight, power transmission, and ports.

Team Overview
Savills Environment & Infrastructure, established in 2021, focuses on infrastructure projects, supporting clients with consenting challenges related to essential infrastructure, especially in renewables and net zero sectors such as carbon capture, wind, solar, and hydrogen, as well as rail freight, ports, water, and waste. Our team collaborates closely with Savills Earth, our sustainability division, which includes experts in engineering, property management, energy consultancy, social value, energy procurement, environmental economics, and research.
The E&I team is one of five national, sector-focused teams within Savills planning division, working with 18 regional teams across the UK. Our core team includes EIA Coordinators, Project Managers, and specialists in climate, health, air quality, and noise.
