Your Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Associate / Associate Director to join our Environmental Consents nationwide team. This role involves strategic leadership in energy projects, contributing to the UK’s Net Zero commitments, and requires a solid grounding in environmental design, assessment, and management throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Lead expansion in the water sector, providing thought leadership and securing new business
  • Offer environmental advice to clients and project teams
  • Collaborate with specialists and engineering teams to promote sustainable design
  • Manage large, complex projects in terms of technical quality, safety, and commercial performance
  • Build and maintain client relationships, identify opportunities for support and marketing
  • Develop proposals, bids, and business opportunities
  • Innovate through techniques like Digital EIA and Technical Excellence
  • Drive team performance, culture, and career development
  • Support an inclusive, safe, and high-performing work environment
Candidate Requirements
  • Degree in environmental or planning field or equivalent experience
  • Experience in EIA for major water schemes
  • Knowledge of consenting processes and environmental issues
  • Line management experience and team development skills
  • Proven business growth and client management capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills
