Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an ARB/RIBA registered Architect to join a well-established design practice in Stockport. This Senior Associate level role enables you to lead design and delivery across all RIBA stages, while taking commercial responsibility for fees, tenders and client relationships and helping grow the business.

You will mentor architects and technologists and shape projects from concept to completion, with a strong emphasis on high-quality delivery and leadership.

Associate Architect / Senior Architect

£45,000 - £55,000 + Senior Leadership Role + Business Development + Progression + Training & Development

Stockport (Commutable from: Manchester, Wilmslow, Macclesfield, Altrincham, Hyde, Sale, Warrington, Ashton-under-Lyne)

Are you an ARB / RIBA registered Architect looking to step into a senior leadership position where you can shape projects, win work and help drive the next phase of growth for a respected architectural practice?

This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established, long-standing design consultancy working across both public and private sector projects, with a strong track record in health, education, residential and blue light work, plus specialist facilities projects.

In this role you will take ownership of design standards and project delivery across all RIBA stages, while also playing a key part in commercial performance through fee setting, tender / framework submissions and building long-term client relationships to secure repeat work.

You will lead projects from concept through to completion (including BIM outputs), managing programme, budget and stakeholders, and providing coaching and mentoring to a talented team of architects and technologists.

This role would suit a senior Architect looking for a step up into an Associate-level role where you can lead, influence and grow-while still staying hands-on with high-quality design delivery.

The Role:

• Senior Associate-level position covering leadership, delivery and growth
• Lead design and project delivery across all RIBA work stages
• Commercial responsibility: fees, tenders/frameworks and new business pipeline
• Client and stakeholder management across multiple concurrent projects
• Monday to Friday role (37.5 hours)
