About Us

We’re a specialist healthcare architecture practice delivering innovative, sustainable solutions across the full spectrum of healthcare environments—from ward refurbishments and acute facilities to Decarbonisation and back-office projects. We’re growing, and we’re looking for an ambitious Associate Architect or Associate Director to join our senior team.

Although healthcare focused we have and aremoving into other sectors including residential and other service organisations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who combines strong design and technical skills with leadership experience and a passion for shaping the future of healthcare design.

The Role

This senior-level position offers a diverse and rewarding blend of responsibilities:

• Leading the design and delivery of projects from inception through to completion
• Producing and overseeing technical drawings and specifications
• Managing multidisciplinary design teams and coordinating project activities
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Supporting business development and bid preparation
• Contributing to studio leadership and business strategy as part of the management team
• Supporting / complementing our Principal Designer service offerings

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a candidate who is both creatively and commercially minded, with proven experience in healthcare architecture. You will bring a collaborative mindset, strong leadership qualities, and a passion for excellence in design and delivery.

Essential Skills and Experience

• A track record of delivering healthcare (but not exclusively) projects at all RIBA stages
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and client relationships
• Strong technical knowledge, including detailing, materials, and specification
• Understanding of sustainable design and current industry standards
• Confident in both digital and hand-drawn communication
• Skilled in contract administration and project coordination
• ARB registered and RIBA
• Ability to prioritise and multitask effectively under pressure.
• Proficient in: Revit; Auto CAD; Photoshop; 3D
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to inspire others
• Strategic thinker with developed leadership and decision-making skills
• Enthusiastic, approachable, and a natural team player
