Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd in Epsom is seeking a Senior or Associate Architect to lead technically complex projects for a well-established practice with a strong commercial focus.

You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, nurture client relationships and contribute to business development, with a clear progression pathway and hybrid working options. A strong portfolio in life sciences or healthcare is advantageous, with exposure to ISO standards and building regulations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of architectural experience in commercial sectors.

• Experience with ISO compliance certificates, building regs, health & safety, sustainability.

Conrad Consulting have partnered with a well-established architectural practice based in Epsom, with a strong and growing reputation in the commercial sectors. They are looking to appoint an experienced Senior or Associate Architect, someone who can lead technically complex projects, inspire teams, and contribute to the ongoing growth of the practice. This appointment comes with a clear progression pathway for the right individual, making it an exceptional long-term opportunity for a senior level architect looking to shape both their career and the future of a practice.

The opportunity

This is a senior appointment with real influence over the direction of the practice. You'll lead multi-disciplinary teams on demanding, high-quality projects within sectors such as life sciences, healthcare, leisure and others, manage key client relationships, and play an active part in business development and my client is committed to supporting the right candidate to progress within the business. If you have an existing network in the sector and a natural ability to build relationships that lead to new work, that would be warmly welcomed.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of architectural experience, with a strong portfolio in Commercial sectors Life Sciences, Healthcare (advantageous)
• Ability to secure and deliver projects across both public and private sector frameworks and direct submissions
• Confident leading multi-disciplinary teams and presenting to clients at a senior level
• Experience managing ISO compliance certificates, strong understanding of building regulations, health & safety standards, and sustainability requirements
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Revit experience and knowledge (advantageous)
• An existing network within the life sciences or healthcare sector would be a distinct advantage, as would experience of bringing new client relationships to a practice
