Job description

Job Overview

As an Associate Fire Engineer, you will work on a variety of projects ranging from a university in Scotland to a high‑rise residential tower in London, and international projects. Your goal is to enable innovative architectural designs while maintaining fire safety of the building.

You will run through design information, liaise with other WSP disciplines (facades, acoustics, structures), present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service, and advise the design team on changes that improve safety.

You will be guided through a range of software packages, fire standards, team briefings, and client updates, and you will work closely with colleagues in a collaborative environment.

Throughout your employment, WSP will support your professional registration via the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) and other professional organisations.

Qualifications
