Responsibilities

As a fire engineer, you’ll typically be working on a variety of projects at once from a university in Scotland to a high‑rise residential tower in London, with plenty of international projects. You’ll run through design information, liaise with other WSP disciplines such as facades, acoustics and structures, present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service, and help to inform the design team about changes that could increase safety. You will also provide client updates and participate in project briefings.

You will have a BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Experience within the fire engineering consulting industry is required. This role can be based from any of our UK major offices.
