Job summary

Ideagen is seeking an Associate AI Data Engineer in the Nottingham area to help build scalable data pipelines powering AI models and automation across products. You will transform large datasets into AI-ready data assets and develop ETL/ELT solutions using Python, SQL, and AWS.

You'll work with modern data engineering practices, focus on data quality and governance, and collaborate with AI and software engineers to solve complex challenges in a fast-paced AI environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, or data integration solutions.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with the ability to develop, troubleshoot, and optimise data workflows.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, or Athena.
• Understanding of data quality, validation, monitoring, and governance principles.
• Passion for solving complex problems using data, technology, and automation.
• Interest or experience in AI, machine learning, MLOps, or large language models would be advantageous.
