Job summary

Planning Recruitment seeks an Associate Architect to lead the design development and delivery of a prestigious twin-tower scheme in the Middle East. The role is at RIBA Stage 2, with a luxury hotel and high-end residential apartments, reporting to Principals and mentoring a project team.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years’ experience, a strong portfolio, and hands-on leadership across complex, large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Qualified Architect with approximately 10+ years’ experience.
• Exceptional design portfolio combining creativity and technical rigour.
• Experience delivering complex, large-scale projects.
• High-rise, hospitality, residential or mixed-use experience.
• Strong knowledge of façades, atriums, material assemblies and tectonic detailing.
• Experience developing design solutions through prototyping.
• Confident team leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
• Middle East project experience would be advantageous.
• Rhino, Revit and Grasshopper skills are highly desirable.

A globally recognised design practice is seeking an Associate Architect to lead the design development and delivery of a prestigious twin-tower scheme in the Middle East.

Currently at RIBA Stage 2, the development comprises a luxury hotel and high-end residential apartments. You’ll work directly with the Principals, lead a talented project team and help shape an architecturally significant scheme through to delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the design development of a large-scale mixed-use project
• Protecting the design vision while ensuring technical quality and buildability
• Managing and mentoring a team of architects and designers
• Coordinating consultants, clients and multidisciplinary teams
• Overseeing project documentation and supporting key design decisions

What we’re looking for:
