Job summary

CCHS is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Year Manager to join our team and help us continue our mission of providing a broad and balanced curriculum that leads to outstanding learning and progress.

This role is 37 hours per week across 39 weeks per year (term time, plus non-pupil days). Working days are Monday to Friday, with responsibilities spanning pastoral support, mentoring, and safeguarding within a whole-school context.

A Day in the Life:

You'll be responsible for bringing your passion and expertise to the following areas:

• To be an initial point of contact for parents/carers developing positive and supportive home/school relationships.
• As part of the pastoral team structure, contribute to the provision and organisation of mentoring programmes to support progress and attainment.
• To provide support and structure through a consistent application of the school's Behaviour for Learning policy and ensure students meet the standards of school uniform requirements.
• To assist the Year Manager and Pastoral Leader in dealing with any day to day pastoral issues as they arise.
• Inspire trust and confidence in all stakeholders and colleagues.
