We’re looking for a hands-on Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our small, busy team in NW2/Staples Corner. While the title includes “Manager,” this is very much a practical, physical role — expect to spend some of your time picking and packing orders and collecting and delivering stock, especially during peak periods. However, you’ll also take on some added responsibilities, such as guiding the warehouse assistant, supporting event operations, and getting involved in small improvement projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s ready to take the next step up from a warehouse or logistics role and start building leadership experience in a supportive environment.
What you’ll be doing:
Picking and packing online orders in the warehouse
Collecting and delivering stock in London
Helping with the setup and breakdown of merchandise areas at live events
Guiding and supporting the warehouse assistant in day-to-day tasks
Coordinating with customers, suppliers, and couriers
Assisting with stock control, ordering, and inventory tracking
Using our eCommerce system to manage orders and dispatch
Responding to customer queries via our CMS, email, and phone
Supporting improvements to systems and processes over time
Keeping the warehouse safe, clean, and organised
What we’re looking for:
UK driving license (manual), ideally with commercial experience – must have
At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
Comfortable taking initiative and working independently
Some experience supervising or mentoring others is helpful
Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
Right to work in the UK and a UK bank account
A note on fit: If you’re a practical person who likes staying active, getting things done, and keeping operations running smoothly, you might enjoy this role — even if you haven’t had a formal manager title before. If you’re after a desk-based management job, though, this probably isn’t the one for you.
Don’t meet every single requirement? If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
