Role: Assistant Transport Team Manager

Location: Harlow

Hours: 45 hours per week

Pay: £29,500

The Role:

1. Dispatch drivers in line with the Transport Daily Plan.
2. Debrief drivers at the end of their shift, using the Red/Green Debrief Procedure.
3. Ensure that the Transport Team Managers are fully notified of driver allocation, including driver no-shows.
4. Analyze and confirm driver hours from Tachomaster to mirror the driver's daily journey time.
5. Complete the Driver Delivery Schedule daily, ensuring correct input of:

• Driver journey hours
• Driver duty hours
• Fuel usage documentation
• Trunk case information

Requirements:

• Experience working in a transport environment is essential.
• Capable of coping with significant change and a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Highly motivated.
• Strong communicator.
• Flexible to meet business needs.
• PC literate.
