A£28,000 to A£34,000 DOE + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Annual Bonus + Profit Share Bonus + Healthcare Cash Plan

Assistant Transport Planner required for a market leading consultancy who specialise in Transport Planning and Highways Design. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company who work on a diverse range of projects in both the private and public sectors. This company are truly committed to staff development and training.
This role would suit a graduate (or equivalent) who have studied a subject related to transport planning, geography, civil engineering or similar with an understanding of transport planning standards and processes.
The successful candidate will be joining an existing team of 25 during an exciting period of growth. You will be responsible for preparing documentation such as transport assessment and statements. You will also be responsible for junction modelling and preparing and presenting technical data and drawings.
The Assistant Transport Planner Role:
A· Transport assessments and transport statements
A· Junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY and LINSIG
A· Prepare travel plans and plan coordination
A· Liaison with clients, contractors and national authorities
A· Office based with occasional travel requirements (approx. 1x a month)
The Assistant Transport Planner Candidate:
A· Degree (or equivalent) in transport planning, geography, civil engineering or similar
