Job summary

Culina, the UK's leading independent specialist supply chain partner, is seeking an Assistant Transport Manager for the Eventor team. You will support day-to-day operations of General Haulage and Formula 1 transport, coordinating drivers and resources across the UK and Europe.

You’ll work under the Transport Manager, ensuring compliance, improving efficiency, and developing relationships with planning teams, drivers, and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating resources within a transport, logistics or events environment.
• Strong IT skills with Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure.
• Knowledge of GDPR and transport legislation is beneficial.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of the transport function.
• Coordinate drivers and resources to meet customer requirements.
• Work with planning teams and suppliers to manage demand.
• Manage agency suppliers and driver resource needs.
• Monitor fleet servicing and MOT compliance.
• Assist recruitment, onboarding and inductions.
• Maintain workforce planning and payroll related tasks.
• Build relationships with customers, planners and drivers.
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives.
