Job summary

Eventor is seeking an Assistant Transport Manager to join our General Haulage and Formula 1 Transport division across the UK and Europe. You will support daily operations, coordinate drivers, monitor compliance, and drive improvements in efficiency.

Reporting to the Transport Manager, you’ll manage planning, staffing, and incident response while ensuring GDPR and WTD compliance, and fostering strong customer relationships. A proactive, organised approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating resources within transport/logistics or operations.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support the Transport Manager with daily transport operations.
• Coordinate deployment of drivers and resources to meet customer needs.
• Work with planning teams and suppliers to manage changing demands.
• Manage agency suppliers and driver resourcing.
• Monitor fleet servicing and MOT compliance.
• Track Formula 1 and specialist transport movements; provide updates to customers.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and inductions.
• Manage holidays, absences and workforce availability.
• Build relationships with customers, planning teams, event managers and drivers.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and drive CI initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with policies and transport legislation.
