We are purpose led, focused on building a sustainable and resilient future for the UK, with a reputation for technical excellence, safety and quality built over 35 years. As an employee‑owned business, our people are at the heart of everything we do - empowered to contribute, innovate and help shape our continued success.

If you want to make a meaningful impact, grow your career and join a team that values expertise and forward thinking, we’d love to hear from you.

We are now seeking a motivated and highly organised Assistant Transformation Strategy Manager to join our Project Management Office in a group‑level role. This is a unique opportunity to work at the centre of Kilnbridge’s strategic development, supporting high‑impact business transformation initiatives across all our operating companies and gaining exposure to senior leadership and decision‑making at the highest level.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Support the COO and senior leadership team in delivering business plans and strategic priorities across the group, playing a visible role in shaping Kilnbridge’s future direction.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the group’s target operating model and transformation roadmap.
  • Identify and assess opportunities for new services, operational improvements and business growth, adding real commercial value.
  • Plan, track and support cross‑functional transformation projects, ensuring delivery against key milestones, risks and outcomes.
  • Produce high‑quality presentations, reports, business cases and insight packs that influence senior decision‑making.
  • Coordinate workshops, meetings and reviews, bringing together stakeholders to drive alignment and momentum across initiatives.
  • Analyse data and performance trends to generate actionable insights and support continuous improvement across the business.
  • Support the delivery of change programmes, including communications and engagement activities that help embed new ways of working.
  • Develop clear, engaging materials such as updates, presentations and FAQs to support understanding and adoption of change initiatives.
  • Act as a key connector across teams, ensuring actions are followed through and priorities remain on track.
  • Maintain oversight of KPIs, dashboards and performance metrics, providing visibility to leadership.
  • Respond to fast‑paced, ad hoc requests from senior leaders, demonstrating agility, accuracy and strong judgement.
What You’ll Need
  • A degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Business Analyst, consulting or similar role, ideally within construction, engineering or infrastructure.
  • Exposure to strategic initiatives, transformation programmes or project delivery, with a clear passion for business improvement.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall or PMBOK.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with experience in tools such as Power BI being highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear, compelling messages.
  • Strong analytical capability with a high level of attention to detail and a naturally curious, problem‑solving mindset.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work at pace and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • A collaborative approach, with the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
  • Confidence operating in ambiguity, with sound judgement and an instinct for when to elevate.
  • Resilience and composure under pressure, with a proactive, solutions‑focused attitude.
  • A high level of integrity, professionalism and alignment with Kilnbridge’s values of Responsibility, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence.
