This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Winkfield Parish Council

Winkfield Parish Council is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented individual to support the Clerk in delivering high-quality council services and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Research information to support Council projects and decisions
  • Prepare reports and format quotes and documents as required
  • Assist in drafting policies and procedures
  • Support health & safety duties, including risk assessments
  • Liaise with councils, organisations, and partner authorities
  • Assist with the preparation and distributing of agendas, minutes, and meeting papers
  • Manage correspondence, enquiries, and document records
  • Support procurement, contracts, and community events
  • Deputise for the Clerk when necessary

What we’re looking for

  • Admin experience (local government preferred)
  • Strong communication, research, and organisational skills
  • Confident with Microsoft Office and general IT
  • Able to prioritise and work independently
  • Professional, flexible, and team-oriented
