Skilled Careers is seeking an ambitious Assistant Technical Services Manager to join its Building Services team on commercial construction projects in the Greater London area.

The role offers a clear path toward becoming a fully-fledged Technical Services Manager, working closely with senior Technical Services professionals to coordinate, deliver and manage M&E services across projects. The ideal candidate has experience with main contractors and a proactive, ownership-driven attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience working on commercial construction projects.
• Previous experience with a main contractor.
• Exposure to mechanical and electrical services.
• Good understanding of the construction process.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Confident to work with subcontractors, consultants and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical and electrical services.
• Work closely with M&E subcontractors and consultants.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Monitor progress against programme.
• Attend design, coordination and site meetings.
• Support quality assurance and installation inspections.
• Identify and resolve technical issues.
• Assist with commissioning and project handover.
• Ensure Building Services packages are delivered safely, on programme.
