Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Assistant Technical Officer for the Preparative Services in the busy Aseptic Unit of the Pharmacy Department. You will join a dedicated team performing aseptic preparation, dispensing sterile products and ensuring compliance with SOPs.

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, pro-active and enthusiastic Assistant Technical Officer to work in our busy and friendly Aseptic Unit within the Pharmacy Department
You will work as part of a dedicated team involved in the preparation and dispensing of aseptic products. You will perform duties such as organising and supervising processes within the aseptic unit such as; specialist cleaning, transfer disinfection, stock control, physical and environmental monitoring as well as dispensing and preparing sterile products.
You should be eager to learn, flexible, reliable, able to work accurately, follow detailed standard operating procedures and have good attention to detail. Hours of work will be discussed with weekdays operating between the hours of 7.30am and 5.20pm and a requirement to participate in the rota for the weekend and Bank Holiday service provision.
