We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced individual, passionate about improving outcomes for disabled children.

  • Salary: £42,463 to £46,732 per annum

About the Role

At Norfolk County Council, we are committed to providing quality, holistic residential care for children and young people with disabilities to achieve excellent outcomes. Our services are well regarded for providing creative and ambitious opportunities for our young people.

The Springwood Hub supports young people on or near the edge of the care system, providing emergency and medium residential care, and intensive short-term interventions within family homes to prevent entry into care and placement breakdown.

You will lead a team providing direct care and support to young people with learning/physical disabilities, including those with complex health needs and challenging behaviour. You will support and supervise staff, contribute to planning and decision-making, and work in partnership with other professionals.

This role involves being part of an on-call system and may require working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays occasionally.
