We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced individual, with a passion for improving outcomes for disabled children.
Position details:
Location: Springwood Hub, Norwich
At Norfolk County Council, we are committed to providing quality, holistic residential care for children and young people with disabilities to achieve excellent outcomes. Our services are well regarded, and we pride ourselves on ensuring the best outcomes for disabled children.
The Springwood Hub supports young people within or on the edge of the care system, providing emergency and medium-term residential care, as well as outreach services to prevent entry into care and placement breakdowns.
You will lead a team providing direct care and support to young people with learning/physical disabilities, including those with complex health needs and challenging behaviour. Your role involves being a positive role model, providing professional supervision, performance reviews, training, and induction for new staff.
You should have experience and knowledge of safeguarding procedures, contribute to planning and decision-making regarding children’s care, and work collaboratively with other professionals. The role may involve working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a rotational basis.
