Job summary

Woodcot Primary School in Gosport is seeking a part-time Assistant Teacher to support learning and help children thrive across the school. Working 19.17 hours per week during term time (39 weeks), you will assist the class teacher, deliver small-group interventions, supervise lunchtimes, and promote positive behaviour in line with school policies.

Qualifications

  • Has a good standard of English and mathematics to support curriculum delivery.

  • Has strong communication skills and can communicate sensitively and effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed of progress and concerns as directed by the class teacher.
  • Previous school experience is desirable but not essential. Full training and professional development opportunities will be provided to support successful applicants in delivering the very best outcomes for our children.

Working hours: 19.17 hours per week (19 hours 10 minutes) 8.40am - 12.30pm Monday to Friday

Term time only 39 weeks

Pay: Grade B £25,614 - £25,956 FTE. Actual Annual Salary £11,382.28 - £11,534.26
