Role Description
This role suits an individual with VAT/indirect tax experience, looking to broaden their horizons and experience to include corporate tax and employment taxes.
This is a great opportunity to manage and support tax compliance, planning and efficiency for the Low Carbon Group. As part of the Finance team, the Assistant Tax Manager / Tax Manager will take ownership for Low Carbon’s corporation tax and operational tax compliance and reporting. The role reports primarily into the Head of Tax and will also involve supporting and partnering with colleagues in the wider business including the Finance and Investment teams on overall group tax planning, tax aspects of transactions (both buy-side and sell-side) and general tax advisory projects.
This role encompasses the entire Low Carbon Group including Head Office, operational companies, development SPV’s, holding companies and some Fund entities. This is an exciting and interesting tax role to support the growth of the business and whilst focussing on group tax compliance, it also provides the opportunity to get involved in M&A tax and other tax advisory work.
