Job summary

Places for People Group is seeking an Assistant Swimming Teacher to support swimming lessons from babies to adults under the guidance of the Swimming Teacher.

You will help swimmers develop their skills and confidence in the water and may lead a small group under supervision. The role offers flexible shifts and opportunities to grow within our community-focused team.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 1 UKCC Swimming Teacher qualification or equivalent.
• Ability to work with children is essential.
• Ability to work as part of a team is essential.

More about your role

As an Assistant Swimming Teacher you will support the Swimming Teacher in swimming lessons from babies to adults. You'll work closely with the Swimming Teacher in supporting swimmers develop their skills and confidence in the water. Within lessons, you may be responsible for a small group of learners learning a specific skill, under the direction of the Swimming Teacher

1) Experience at assisting in swimming teaching/ children's classes.

Technical / professional qualifications:
