Assistant Store Manager - Orpington North, Orpington

We have exciting opportunities for Assistant Store Managers to join our growing team in Orpington North.

As an Assistant Store Manager at Aldi, you’ll need energy, leadership skills, and a passion for success. With experience managing a team in a target-driven environment, you can take control, support your team to maintain high store standards, and tightly control costs.

Your responsibilities include achieving high sales, fostering an efficient and cooperative work environment, and delivering excellent customer service. Passionate about performance, you will drive high-performing teams to excel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing employee development and performance
• Making short and long-term business decisions with a strong operational mindset
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards
• Leading with strong leadership skills and due diligence
• Motivating employees and fostering success
• Minimising costs and optimising productivity
• Managing property, controlling costs, and monitoring sales figures
• Communicating regularly with the Area Manager on sales, stock, and financial management

What you'll get in return:

• Salary starting at £37,585, rising to £44,310 after 4 years, plus an optional London allowance of up to £2,960
• Flexible contracts (32/36/40 hours across 4 days or 40/45 hours across 5 days, including weekends), with pro-rata salary
• 4 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 5 weeks after 2 years
• Full training for the first 3 months, with ongoing support
